We believe that opportunities for young adults to meet together are important for encouraging their commitment to grow in faith, and to discover all that the Lord is calling them to be.
Here at SCCF we have a strong emphasis on building sanctified Christian relationships within the various contexts of family and church life.
Our desire is for young adults to be active and fruitful members of the church ‘equipped for every good work’ 2Tim3:17.
The local Young Adults program is focused toward 17-25 year olds, and we have a vibrant community of young people who meet monthly on a Wednesday evening for training in Christian culture and service. Here we have a particular emphasis on preaching the word, worship and song, music, hospitality, and care for others.
Bible teaching for the young adults is a curriculum within the broader teaching program of the church on Sundays.
Our young people are actively involved in all areas of church life including the Sunday morning Communion service, teaching Sunday school, home fellowship gatherings, and various men’s and women’s events.
